Truth: God, Reality, or the Self?

One of the most mysterious concepts in the series is Truth. It appears when someone tries human transmutation and stands behind the Gate.

Truth is not easy to define. It looks like a god, speaks like an all-knowing being, but also feels very personal. It even takes the form of the person facing it.

This makes it confusing but also interesting. Maybe Truth is not just a god-like figure. Maybe it represents reality itself. Or even the inner self of a person.

Another important aspect is that Truth always takes something in return. It never gives knowledge for free. This connects directly to Equivalent Exchange, but in a more absolute way.

To me, Truth feels like a reminder: there are limits in this world, and if you try to go beyond them, you have to face the consequences.

So what is Truth really? A god, a rule of the universe, or just a reflection of ourselves?
