The Homunculi and the Seven Deadly Sins

The Homunculi are some of the most interesting characters in the series. Each of them represents one of the seven deadly sins: Pride, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, and Sloth.

At first, they seem like simple villains. But as the story continues, we see that they are more complex. Each one shows a different side of human nature.

For example, Greed wants everything, but at the same time, he values friendship. Envy hates humans but is also jealous of them. This contradiction makes them feel more real.

What is interesting is that these “sins” are not completely negative. Some of them are part of being human. Ambition, desire, even anger… they can be destructive, but they can also push people forward.

This makes me think that the Homunculi are not just enemies. They are like exaggerated versions of human emotions.

If that’s the case, are they really monsters, or just reflections of us?
